Appalachian Mysteria


As we await the premiere of the highly anticipated season three, the team has made development in the WVU: Coed Murders case.


In season one episode two, it was briefly mentioned that a copper plate with mystical writings was discovered during the Mared and Karen investigation. Now more than 40 years later, the mystery behind the plate and its author has been revealed.



Upon their research, co-producer Sarah James McLaughlin’s and Dr. Korshi Dosoo of the Julius Maximilian University of Wurzburg uncovered the text translated to the name of a local woman and had references to the occult, mysticism, and the germanic myth of Faust and Mephistopheles.

The Big Swing with Strip and Coop


To start off the new year, Strip and Coop were joined by Super Bowl XXXIV Champion, former Rams WR, and member of the Greatest Show on Turf, Torry Holt. He discussed what it was like dominating the league with Hall of Famers like Quarterback Kurt Warner and Offensive Tackle Orlando Pace, and how their brand of football led to the illustrious Lombardi Trophy.


He also discussed life after football, and how when his career ended it was best to fully step away from the game.

Of course, we couldn’t kick off 2021 without another edition of “Saturday Rewind.” This time it featured a 2019 interview the guys had with World Series Champion Kike Hernandez and Ms. Puerto Rico Mariana Hernandez.


In this interview, the four discussed Mariana’s difficulties pursuing a career in acting, and her pageant days. She also discusses what it was like to meet President Donal Trump at the Miss Universe pageant.

Between Us with John Roa


The year began with a special two-part episode featuring Dr. Michael Freeman, a leading expert in the effects of entrepreneurship on mental health. Roa and Dr. Freeman talked about how his research aligns with the purpose of John's book as well as the identifying factors that can contribute to the pitfalls of entrepreneurship. The discussion turned toward Dr. Freeman's company ECONA, which is helping to de-stigmatize these types of discussions in the field of entrepreneurship.
