Last week, we celebrated the 100th episode of The Big Swing, got baked on Between Us with John Roa, and got a few laughs with comedic veteran Larry Omaha.
The Big Swing
They did it! Strip and Coop finally made it to the 100th episode of The Big Swing. It’s been almost two years since the guys recorded, and released, the humble beginnings of episode one.
They truly were humble beginnings, with the guys recording that first episode in Strip’s apartment surrounded by moving boxes that doubled as make-shift chairs.
In the time since, the two have connected with some of the biggest names in sports, including Clayton Kershaw, Cody Bellinger, Mike Evans, Danny Green, and so many more. They’ve even gotten some time with the guys from inside the booth and analyst chair with guys like Buster Olney, Joe Davis, and Kirk Herbstreit. And of course, who can forget the jaw-dropping interview they had with Strip’s former teammate, Joe Kelly.
The two have been able to grow their fandom of “Swingers” to become one of the go-to podcasts in baseball and sport and was an instant hit with Dodger fans everywhere.
Over the last two years, Strip and Coop have created a space for listeners to gain a unique perspective into the world of sports and pop culture, and we can’t wait to see what the next 100 episodes will bring.
Listen here for the 100th episode, and check out the first 99 anywhere you listen to podcast.
Before creating a nationwide empire, Ben-Ishay was moving through life as an assistant media planner. It was a job that she really wasn’t passionate about and ultimately was let go from. The firing turned out to be a blessing in disguise. With a little push from her brother, she was able to turn her true passion for baking into Baked by Melissa.
During her discussion with Roa, she talks about how the business has turned into a family affair. It can be tough working with your brother and husband, and she explains those struggles while offering up some advice to those who are venturing into doing the same.
Let’s Get Into Entertainment
